Acalani Pantheon

The Acalani practice a sacrificial religion and place a great deal of emphasis on astronomical studies. The Acalani king is regarded as a deity in the flesh and all religious edicts come from the king. The clergy serve as the government and have a strict, branching hierarchy. Approximately 300 years ago the necromancer king Ion Azarola declared himself as Athanasius, the God-King, and still rules the Acalan Kingdom.
