The Brewing Tempests
Dionys has never made a decision which has helped his children or family. Be it deferring to their mother who was obviously mad, inviting a predator into the home, or simply being aloof to a fault…his relationship with Pug was never strong. A fisher by trade, he grew up in and spent most of his life in a Dorsi village called Vesuu. After his first wife left to become a madame in a whorehouse, he turned to the village mystic and Pug’s mentor for solace. He found it between her legs and soon married her. Years after all three children had left the home he had left for his morning catch and he would never come back. His wife would remain at the home, distraught until she too vanished without a trace. They are presumed dead by the village. The truth is perhaps more grisly. A cult associated with a “dead god” from the Acalani people had used him as a means to make her more vulnerable. He is captive under the cult’s chief and is considered to be a high value an asset to let go of.
